Choose love

I wish I could tell you

what I know about life.

Yes, the first time you look at the belly of the whale,

parsed out the rules

cracked the code

of artificial rules that hold a society together

life becomes meaningless.

Yes, it does.

doesn’t matter if you cut

doesn’t matter if you drop out

doesn’t matter if you have body art

doesn’t matter if you are homeless

it is all meaningless.

I wish I could you tell that

it is not the rules

but it is love that binds the world together.

Choose love.

You don’t have to self-destruct to learn this simple truth.
