Wish I could be a vampire

Living in the shadows

Hiding under the bushes

Smelling the freshly cut lawn

Playing hide and seek with

the shadow and light

summer leaves cast

Southwestern breeze blowing those leaves.

Leering at passers-by from under hooded eyes

Scaring little children albeit unintentionally

Waiting for absolution

That albino needed a life.

He wished he could be a vampire instead.
